Caralene Robinson

Caralene Robinson is Founder and Executive Director of 220th Street Productions. She is a filmmaker and marketer committed to telling meaningful stories. Her career began at companies such at Coca Cola and Sprint. Most recently she ran marketing at VH1 and Logo, launching all series, original movies and documentaries.

Several years ago Caralene expanded beyond award-winning brand and series campaigns by producing documentary ‘Versailles ’73: American Runway Revolution’. V73 is currently being adapted into a feature. Next, she served as writer/director of scripted short ‘The Bill.’ The comedy screened at more than dozen festivals, garnered five awards, and can be seen on several platforms including Amazon Prime and kweli.tv.

Caralene’s recent projects include producing digital series ‘Sauce’ and ‘King Ester’, directing dystopian short ‘Lifeline’, and completing her latest writer/director effort, ‘DisordHer.’ Caralene’s range of experience allows her to play a unique role within the content creation process that includes creating, directing , producing, marketing, strategy, and distribution. Caralene graduated from Howard University and New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Simone Moore

Nina Simone Moore is a Writer / Producer / Performer based in Brooklyn. Using various mediums to create and relay narratives, she identifies as a storyteller. Simone hails from Atlanta, GA where she began working within the creative production world in the early 2000s on projects like ‘Somebodies’ for BET and ‘The Family That Preys’ and ‘Madea Goes to Jail,’ for The Tyler Perry Company.

She graduated from Wesleyan University with a double major in Dance and English - Creative Writing concentration, and then spent time in LA producing her own short films and plays.

Amassing experience on both coasts in Spoken Word performances, Film & TV production, and event planning alike, Simone has been a Production Coordinator and Producer in New York since 2016 working on projects like ‘The Fashion Fund’ for Amazon, ‘First We Take Brooklyn’ on IMDbTV and ‘A Crime to Remember’ on Hulu. She remains enamored with the script to screen process, and looks forward to bringing more stories to life.
